FAST Swim Meet info

Swim meets will be held Saturday mornings.  See the meet schedule for locations
information.  
The Championship meet will be held at the
UT Jamail Aquatics Center.  

Parents,
Please don't forget your heat sheet, a chair, cooler with plenty of drinks & snacks,
and sunscreen. Take  pictures of your favorite swimmer and you can send them to
fastfrogs@yahoo.com.  We will try to post them on the website.

Marking Swimmers
To help the early morning go smoother, PLEASE make sure you have your name
on your right, rear shoulder and your right arm marked with all your event, heat, and
lane numbers  (open diagram below) . When swimmers show up with this done, it
leaves enough time for the age group parents to fill in the relay details. There
should only be 2 things written on swimmers: name on shoulder and events on right
arm. DO NOT WRITE OR DRAW ANYTHING ELSE ON SWIMMERS (team tattoos
are fine)! Let's show the other teams our sportsmanship

                How to Read a Heat Sheet

For the meets FAST Hosts here is list items we will be selling

Starbucks Coffee and pastries
soda,
popcorn,
candy, etc...
Starbucks Coffee and Tea, Apple Juice, Promise Pizza, Taylor Meats Hot
Dogs, Round Rock Donuts, El Rincon Breakfast Tacos, Apples, Bananas,
Granola Bars and Rice Krispie Treats

What to Bring to a meet     ** Please label everything**

  • Team Uniforms:
  • Team suit or black suit
  • Team shirt & cap
  • Swim cap (if you choose to wear one);  
  • Plenty of towels, goggles, sunglasses, and SUNSCREEN (we're outdoors
    this year!)
  • Warm clothing (early mornings OUTSIDE can be cool).
  • Chairs, blankets, or sleeping bags to sit on.
  • Shade/tarp if you have one.
  • Cooler for fruit juices, water, snacks, etc.
  • Snacks and a light lunch.
  • The host team has a concession stand available throughout the meet.
  • Out of courtesy to the host team, we ask everyone to please pick up after
    themselves...
  • Goals:  Have fun and relax!  Take care of yourself!  Encourage Teammates!
